About us - Three friends, one studio
Blockframe Studios is Milan Malhotra, Armor Okeson, and Samuel Leighton — three friends who've been building games and software together for over 10 years, long before it was a studio name.
We started the way a lot of these things start: building small tools for our own Minecraft server because we wanted them to exist. SetHomes was one of those tools. We open sourced it, other server owners picked it up, and it's since crossed 435,000 downloads on a plugin we made mostly to get back into writing Java.
These days that's still roughly how we work — build something we'd actually want to use, ship it, and keep going. Alongside our released plugins we're working on a handful more, a couple of Minecraft mods, and two low-poly games in Unity.

How we work - Nobody has a fixed role.
There's three of us, and all three of us touch programming, art, and design on every project. Nobody waits on a specialist.
- No fixed roles. Whoever has time and an idea picks up the next piece — code, art, or design. It keeps things moving with just three people.
- Small on purpose. Three people means direct decisions and no meetings about meetings. We'd rather stay small and ship than scale and stall.
- Build what we'd use. SetHomes started because we wanted it on our own server. That's still how most of our projects begin.
